We discount off of the Kohler suggested retail price list, not like many others who sell at or above the suggested retail.

Shipping Parts: USA
We do our best to have low shipping rates. Most parts orders are shipped via USPS Priority mail which is delivered in 1 to 3 day (Please provide PO Box # if you have one.) or at times we may use UPS, FEDEX unless weight or size is prohibitive, in which case motor freight will be used. Note: If we find that USPS Priority is a faster delivery time and you selected FEDEX, at our option we will use USPS Priority and we will try to notifiy you at the time of shipping that we changed the service. We will not credit back if the USPS rate is cheaper. USPS Priority Mail is the fastest delivery in the USA at the best rate.
Shipping Parts: Canada
Again we do our best to have low shipping rates. Parts orders under 4lbs are shipped via Global USPS Priority mail which is delivered in 4 to 6 day. Orders 4lbs and above are shipped FEDEX ground. If we find you a lower shipping rate and faster delivery than what you had selected at time of check out we will notifiy you and credit you back the difference.
* OPEengines is NOT responsible for any customs, taxes, and/or duties levied by foreign custom. Buyer should check with local customs agency about duties before purchasing.
Shipping Parts: Your Own Account Option
We also provide a shipping option to use your own account with FEDEX, UPS or who ever you have. Please provide your shipper account # and the shipping company name in the comment section and how you would like it shipped (Next Day, 2 Day or Ground).
Parts orders received before 6:00 pm Pacific time that are in stock are usually shipped the same day.
Engine orders received before 2:00 pm Pacific time that are in stock are usually shipped the same day.
Back orders or Special orders
In certain instances, if we are out of stock on an item or it is a non-stocking item we may be able to drop ship directly from the manufacturer to you or we will special order in by 2 to 5 day air to us and than ship it out to you at no extra cost to you.
We have 97% fill rate on Kohler parts orders and are shipped out the same day of order. Most of our order are shipped by USPS Priority mail and delivered in 2 days to 3 days within the USA.

Shipping Engines and Short Blocks: USA
Engines & Short Blocks are shipped from either a Westcoast or Midwest warehouse. Engines and short blocks that are in-stock can be shipped that day. Drop ship orders may take a day or two longer.
* Free shipping is to a business location or terminal located within the 48 states*. ( Please provide business name and address in comments section on check out if you do not have it list in the ship to address box. ) If you do not provide business address we will do our best to locate the closest terminal in your area for you to pickup.
* With in the 48 states, if the location is considered a beyond point extra fees may be incured. We will notify you if that is the case before shipping.
* Engines and Short Block shipments to Alaska and Hawaii will receive $50.00 to $100.00 credit towards total freight cost.
* One exception to free shipping, if you are located way out of a trucking lane you may incur a destination beyond fee of not more than $35.00 and we will notify you prior to shipping.
* Residential addresses will be charged a $48.00 delivery fee. ( Please select "Residential Shipping Charge" in the shipping options for the option. )
The carrier defines a business as a location that opens and closes to the general public at set times each day. You may be considered a residence if you are located in a residential zone, even if you open and close at set times. Schools, colleges, and churches located in residential zones may also incur residential fees. Homebased business, farms, ranches are considered residential.
Engines & Short Blocks are * free shipping and shipped by LTL (Freight Lines) unless they are under 89 lbs in which they can be shipped FEDEX Ground you may also request FEDEX Next Day, 2 Day, 3 Day on all engines and short blocks that are instock, you are charged the price difference from ground to the faster service.
We provide tracking # for UPS, FEDEX, LTL shipments. USPS we have delivery conformation # only.
Shipping Engines and Short Blocks: Canada
Kohler engines and short block are products made in the U.S.A. that qualify for duty-free shipping to Canada.
Returns:
Please contact us by email or phone whenever there is a need for a return. Returned parts must be in clean, unused, original condition, packed in the manufacturer’s original packaging, and resalable, and received at OPEengines/Phil Coons Sales within 30 days of date of sale. We will not accept returns after 30 Days. Please include with the return a copy of the invoice/sales receipt number. Returned items will be inspected before a refund is issued.
Engines that have been started or had oil and gas added, ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN.
There are no refunds on electrical parts unless part is deemed defective by us.
There is NO restocking fee parts but shipping charges are not refundable, regardless of whether the item was ordered in error by telephone or on our web site.
If an engine or shortblock is returned, the shipping charges we paid to ship it out to you will be deducted from your refund.

There are no core charges for engines and short blocks and so no need to return them.
Ownership Policy & Claims:
Ownership of the Product/Order passes to you upon delivery to the carrier (Post Office or Shipping Company) and risk of loss and breakage passes to you upon delivery of your Product/Order to the carrier. We have no control over the shipper/carrier. OPEengines.com will not replace lost or misdirected packgages or be responsible for breakage unless a successful claim can be filed with the carrier to replace the package.
When packages appear damaged on arrival, state condition of the container over your signature on the receipt. If damage is discovered after opening the container, notify the carrier immediately. We provide good merchandise, properly packaged to the carrier. Claims for damage must be directed to the carrier first, not to OPEengines.
All purchases from us are made pursuant to a "shipment contract". As a result, risk of loss and title for items purchased from us pass to you upon delivery of the items to the carrier. Shipments are insured for the purchaser, it is purchaser responsibility for filing any claims with carriers for damaged and/or lost shipments. We will assist you in filing your claim.
Orders cannot be cancelled or refunded due to misdirected or lost packages. This type of situation is beyond our control and has to be resolved with the shipping company. Shipping fees are not refundable for lost, misdirected, or late arriving packages. The cost of the order is not refundable due to lost, misdirected, or late arriving packages.
Chargebacks:
All credit card transactions (payments) are final once completed. Buyer waives all rights to charge back credit card payments.
Any and all disputes regarding an order must be resolved or attempted to be resolved through OPEengines.com first and foremost.
We do not take chargebacks lightly. We consider chargebacks to be a form of consumer fraud. If you issue a chargeback for any reason, we will charge to your credit card or invoice you a fee of $50.00 to respond to the chargeback, and pursue the matter through an attorney and/or collection agency and any other means.
OPEengines.com responds to and disputes each and every chargeback. Due to the time and effort involved in disputing a chargeback, any and all chargebacks issued to OPEengines.com will involve a $50.00 fee charged to the Customer issuing the chargeback.
Your account will be closed immediately and you will never be allowed to do business here again. Once your package leaves our facility or distribution center, you, the customer, are the owner of your merchandise.
If a customer refuses to accept delivery of their package, returns their package, issues a chargeback with their credit card company, fails to pay duty, taxes, brokerage fees, customs fees, and any other associated shipping fees, and these fees get charged back to OPEengines.com, OPEengines.com reserves the right, and will charge you, the customer, a fee of $50. or more, plus any fines, collection expenses, attorney fees, chargeback fees, etc.
If a charge back has been issued from your credit card company, we will pursue you legally through an attorney and or/collection agency and any other means. So, even if a chargeback is issued, you will be pursued through other means until we recover the cost of the products plus any and all fees. OPEengines.com retains the right to charge the Customer's Credit Card for any and all chargeback fees in cases where the chargeback is disputed by OPEengines.com.
Limited Warranty on Engine and Parts:
The products we sell come with a manufacturer warranty. You will need to contact your local authorized Kohler dealer in your area for engine or short block warranty and repairs.
Although this is a major inconvenience to you, the consumer, it is out of our control. We are here to help locate a servicing dealer in your area. Defective parts under warranty must be returned us. We will replace all defective parts which were purchased new, but cannot accept responsibility for inconvenience or losses occasioned by their use. There is no warranty if parts have become defective due to faulty installation or if they have been abused in any way. All warranties and/or guarantees are voided if products have not been installed properly.
Part warranty - 90 Days
Limitation of Liability and Indemnity:
Customer assumes all liability and risk arising from the ordering, purchase, use or installation of new parts that are purchased from OPEengines.com. OPEengines.com shall not be liable for any damages to any person or property arising out of or in connection with the use of any parts that it sells. Customer agrees to indemnify OPEengines.com from any and all claims (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with the use of the product(s) it purchased from OPEengines.com. OPEengines.com is not responsible for any damages or claims arising out of a delay in the processing or shipment of any order. By purchasing products, Customer is acknowledging that it agrees to accept this Limitation of Liability and these Terms and Conditions.
