2575540-S Kohler Clamping Diode Kit

 * When repairing DSAI module failures it is important to make sure the electrical PTO clutch has a diode to block electrical spikes from damaging sensitive electronic components. Almost all new equipment has this added protection, but when repowering an older piece of equipment, it’s worth taking the extra time to check, and if necessary, install the diode kit.
Please refer to Kohler PLUS and Installation Instructions 25 790 01 for more information.
When installing the Clamping Diode Kit Part No. 25 755 40-S, it’s important to remember the following points:

  • Make sure the crimp connections are good and solid.
  • Diode orientation is critical for the correct operation of the clutch upon kit installation. The red lead from the diode assembly is spliced to the positive leads going to the clutch. The black lead from the diode assembly is spliced to the ground leads coming from the clutch (See diagram or refer to Installation Instructions 25 790 01).
